If I understand Rich's last message to me correctly, we have one 20x30 and 2 20x20, or 4 20x20 spaces left (that's after Joe get's his), I'll be confirming that. So we have room for three and possibly four more teams.

The music line up looks like this:

I was just looking over Brian's post and it seems that there are a number of teams that are not participating in the People's Choice.

I'd like to stress that the People's Choice rib cookoff is a benefit for the Wounded Warrior Project.

If you'd be willing to change your mind on this, it would be appreciated.

As of my last checking with Rich, we have added two more teams:

Kiss My Brisket (Eric Johnson) Yes- Peoples Choice No- Vending
Pop Bang Cue (Joe Desalazar) No- Peoples Choice No-Vending


I now have 3 more regular size lots OR 2 oversized OR 1 oversized and two regular lots. I think that one of those oversize is going to Blazin' Butts, but I'm not sure if Rich has counted that in.

Cost to sell ribs for People's Choice = $0
Vendors permit to sell food to public = $85

We're on grass.

We are having a sit down w/ Rich, the owner of the venue, on Saturday at noon. I'll have answers for you Saturday evening.

We are working on some sweet trophies for the People's Choice rib event that's benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project.

I hope to have everything confirmed soon.

If you aren't participating in the Rib event, please reconsider. You couldn't ask for a better cause.

We have double the cool trophy information!

1) The KCBS event will feature trophies from Pirate 50! They are amazing works of art. You may have seen some teams from the south and west displaying them, but this is the first time they will be in NY.

2) We are using a baseball motif for the Wounded Warrior Project fundraising. The People's Choice rib cook-off will feature trophies that include beautiful, engraved, major league quality baseball bats with the phrase 'A Home Run For Heroes' and the event info.

This is going to be a great event!
