While on vacation I was able to meet with the venue owner to discuss the 2009 event. When and if the event is finalized the organizers will have use of the entire campground as a private party for the weekend. Here is what I know so far:
There are 45 electric sites
Not all sites have water but can be remedied by spliters.
We will have the entire campground less the other event (See pics below)
Other event will either be a blue grass festival craft fair or possibly something else
Tentative weekends is Oct 3-5 (Royal Weekend) or Oct 10-12
Cookers may arrive early but must pay normal camping RV fees until Fri of the contest
There are six permanent Showers and bathrooms. Other Spot Johnny's as well. I will be there this weekend to work on more details. Any questions or suggestions are welcome.
