Christmas hams

Aluminum pans wrapped with aluminum foil if they are hot. Just aluminum foil if they are cold.

The acid in the hams will cause holes in the tin foil. Then it will leave very dark spots on the ham itself. Best to wrap the hams in plastic wrap first then the foil.
Dealt with this again yesterday at our house.

I agree with bbqbull. We experienced the same issue in the past.

IF you are delivering the package within 24 hours and the customer is consuming the product with the next 24 hours this may not be an issue but any extended period of time with direct contact between the ham and aluminum foil will result in the outcome described.

Best to follow his advise and wrap in plastic wrap then foil.
