This is the third or fourth cook on my new Blackstone. I'm really likin' it!
Made some cheesy grits, chilled and cut with my biscuit cutter. Then rolled a few in herbed panko and some in regular panko.
started the shrimp sauce.... butter, crab boil, dijon, pepper, garlic and herbs..
got my bacon going first so I could catch some of the drippings for my sauce...
I let the sauce simmer at the back...
added conecuh spicy sausage...
scooched my sausage over and added scallions and garlic..
next came the grit cakes...
and shrimp...shrimp was drizzled with olive oil and seasoned with coarse salt and cayenne.
added fresh squeezed lemon juice, crumbled crisp bacon... and called her good.
Griddle shrimp n grits...with sauce.
I liked it a lot. :grin:
