The thing I'm seeing lately that is funny to me is people talking about cooking things "brisket style", i guess i missed where brisket is a cooking method and not a muscle.

We adulterate methods and use misnomers for so many things what's different with the notion of brisket style? Think trisket.:becky:

Shrimp Scampi is redundant. London Broil cooked in a smoker is certainly wrong on a couple of points since there is no cut of beef called London Broil and it's really a cooking method.

Think about it and I bet you'll find a some other food related oddities that fit this subject.
