Anyone on the fence about the Backstone may want to check a few different Lowes near them. I checked online.

I ordered one from local Lowes last week for $174.00, to have delivered with a stove next month when I move. Now I see another Lowes a little further from me has them on sale for $87.00.

I may call and try to price match.

Holy cow! I'll have to check my Lowes. For $87 I could have a backup :-D

Just checked and none in stock at any Lowe's near me, and no longer listed as an active item on their website. Might be discontinued??

If you can get it for $87 go for it! That is a bargain Cheapest price around here is $399!

How are these pizza cookers; anybody feel like sharing your experiences for me?
I really was looking to spend some cash on a wood fired pizza oven for added backyard cooking. Wasn't really looking at gas fired or something that portable, but if it serves the purpose then why not I guess?

Best pizza cooker I ever used, hands down. I never use wfo. My ceramic grill and weber didn't see a pizza once I got one.

I just checked and the Lowes in West Des Moines, IA has them for $175.... and I thought I was getting a deal at $299.

Not showing as a listed item on the on-line inventory of my "local" Lowes, which is 50 miles away....

Worth a gamble?

Next closest ones are over 100 miles.

Called the two stores near me that still had them in stock and the price was $299.44. Looks like you got a great deal.

I have one and I love it. So easy to use and it makes great pies. These prices are insane. I paid $369 two years ago.

These are a couple I made a few months back. Sausage, broccolini with hot peppers, and a Chicken, artichoke with pesto.

Here's a review I did of the Blackstone on my blog:

In a nutshell, it cranks out amazing pizzas in short order.

Some recent pics of pizzas cooked in the blackstone:

It's a heist at that price. It's a great unit and turns out some awesome pies painlessly and in no time. Worthy every penny especially at that price.

does anyone have an item number for this?

It's 516736

It's kind of tricky because it's not showing up on Lowes.com depending on the store. Here's a link to a store around here so just go ahead and change the store up top using a city or zip in your area and it'll give you availability and price. Depending on the store it varies from 174.50 to 399.99

Thanks. I needed to see that bottom shot. That's what I was doubting but it looks great.

Do these things fold up for easy winter storage?

Dang,,,,,,,the store down the street from me sold the last one at $100.

You're welcome!! I always take shots of the bottom so people see that the oven is the real deal.
