My wife and I had the daily discussion about what we wanted for dinner, so since I have made it a personal mission to get reacquainted with my Blackstone, I suggested cheese steak sandwiches and she was onboard.
A trip to the grocery store and I had all the fixings; roast beef, American cheese, onions, bell pepper and hoagie rolls.
I started with the veggies to get them tender and the onions caramelized, then the roast beef to warm it up, white American and toasted the buns. When everything was all melty and ready, assembly then mass destruction!! When my wife said it was the best cheese steak I have ever made, I felt totally successful. Thanks for looking.

reminds me of school lunch cheese steaks. ( don't take offence I loved them) But they used myers steak rolls, and steak umms they left whole and folded them into the roll. They usually had ketchup to put on them, but i would bring A-1 in my lunch box on that day. Anyone else put A-1 on them , or is it just me?
Being from PA, its blasphemy for a cheese steak , but i still love that classic school steak sandwich.
