This was a cook while camping at the lake a couple of weeks or so ago.

Friends from Texas met me at the lake and brought some crawdads with them.

While they sorted through the crawdads, I got the pot ready.

This time, instead of adding the crawdads and shrimp. We dumped the veggies and did the crawdads separate. Long story. lol Can you believe, some people don't want crawdads touching their veggies?

I ate quite a few while tending the pot, then grabbed a bowl and moved to a quiet area before the others moved in.

It was nice to see my Texas friends. We hadn't gotten together since deer camp in November.

Over all, it was a nice weekend.

Sorry for so many pics, but thanks for looking!

Crawfish/Shrimp boil with good friends and cold beer chilling at the lake, doesn’t get any better than that. Thanks for sharing your cook and all the pics Jeanie.

Yes! "Sorry for so many pictures..." :tsk: Seriously!? Are you High!?

Thank you, Jeanie. You folks sure do have a grand time.

Kind regards,
Marc

You have my mouth watering. Those are some giant crawdads.
Thank you JR! There were some big ones in the mix. It was nice.

 Thanks for the laugh Shadow, I needed that!

WOW! Just wow! Interesting that you don't put the potatoes in first.

Thank you Andy! I like to season the pot water with the onions, garlic, lemons, swamp dust, salt and smoked sausage first. Then add tatoes. The tatoes soak up the goodness, they cook quick too.

Excellent work! As usual...
Thanks so much Mytmouz! Good to see ya. :-D

Jeanie,

Another PERFECT cook and post.... I'd drive quite a long time to eat some of of that! Awesome meal girl!!!

Thanks for posting!

Thank you Greg! Very kind of you!

That was a feast!! Don't apologize for so many pictures, that's the only way the majority of us can enjoy your cooking. Very nicely done!

That's a mighty bodacious Cajun boil right there!

Not sure there's such a thing as too many pictures.

Better be careful, if you put that crusty bread in the bowl it might get all soaked up with juices and you'll need to pick it up with your fingers and eat it.
