A Few Catfish...

I was able to get away for a few days. Went to my usual little fishing lake.
There was a burn ban in effect SO I had to make due with the charcoal cooker instead of the campfire.

A few of the fish..

Got the oil nice and hot for the frying...

The little cooker worked fine.

Brought some okra from last years garden...

That's it. Supper was ready.

Grabbed a few to snack on and an adult beverage to wash it down.

Catfish is so mild and flaky.. one of my favorites!

There happened to be an eclipse going on that trip... It was amazing..

The full moon was so bright, rising over the water..

Then the eclipse. The moon looked almost like a red ball hanging in the sky. lol

It was amazing in person. I enjoyed the camping and fishing and hope to get back out there soon. :-D
