These are some of my homegrown birds. The garlic, scallion, ginger flavored birds I raised during the summer.

I went the simple route and just brushed them with olive oil, then into the drum (around 325F) with a bit of apple wood.

Not a fancy meal, just birds and rice but they tasted pretty good that night. :)

Thanks for looking!

Thank you Titch, Adams and Josh!

Get outta here, that is AWESOME!!!!! Now you're raising flavored birds?!?!? I wanna see a bourbon flavored one!!! You know there's a bird TD going on... HINT, HINT!!!!!!

Nice job on the hens Jeanie! I wonder if your process would work with Turkeys?:clap2:

Looks great, Jeanie!

Now I'm going to do a freezer dive to see if I have any game hens in it. :-D

Beautiful color on those birds Jeanie!

One of the reasons I love to cook, is doing the little extras that make a meal unique, with your own twist. Doing the little things you love and sharing it with friends and family.

Marinating the meat on the hoof? That's something I never thought of.

That's taking it to the next level Cowgirl.
