Never buy filet mignon because of it being lean with little marbling.
Not in your case. Never seen anything like that in a filet mignon.

Thanks guys!! The last one I cooked up about a year and a half ago was even more marbles than this one. :shock:

That is some fine looking beef alrighty, Grade 9 is hard to find

Thanks Bob! It really is. It usually is a very long wait (months or even longer) in between for higher grades of wagyu.
