One Of the Brethren's Grandest smoked meats

Smoked three yesterday. Was going to smoke six, but three had a very off putting odor upon opening that completely engulfed the kitchen:hand::mad::mad2:. Not good. Was going to do a comparison test. Had two Great Value regular, one Jimmy Dean regular, One Williams extra sage, one Braum's regular and one Braum's Hot. The two Braum's and Jimmy made the cut. Not much appreciable difference in the finished product. Did like the flavor of the Braum's hot. Will have to get some more as I've already made a dent.


I first saw someone smoking Fatty's at a BBQ cook-off in 1996 and I've been doing them ever since. But no one called them fatty's then. Just a chub or a roll. And I have never attempted a bacon explosion.
