I really appreciate the kind words. Lots of improvising as I go. If anyone decides to try this, be prepared to spend hours and hours wandering aimlessly around hardware stores trying to find crap to work with what you have cooked up in your head.

I started to have a change of heart on the shape of the base and almost changed it before I mounted the dome. My thought was to redo the base in the same shape as the oven but decided against it, obviously.

Once I laid down the bead of cement mix on the floor to join the dome to the table, it actually raised the dome maybe 1/3". I used the same mix as the dome so it was pretty stiff. I like the little extra height, but realized that my custom made 1/4" steel door is now too short as a result. I have a plan for this as well...
