That's what I would like to know, is it worth it?

I guess I'm not looking at it as a "worth it" type thing, I have a more of a I just want to see if i can do it.
We don't have much of a selection of lump were I live. I got a bag from the local big box that was 8.00 for 20lbs. when I looke in the bag it looked like 2x4s and some of it was half wood half charcoal

I have plenty of wood and it is all free. the only real investment is time
