Sorry Dan, I assumed you were going to smoke food, and not poop on it.
"My bad", as they say. I forgot it was a poop unit.

Ok, that being the case, I would still give it a good warming before you put your meat package on it to remove any toxins or nasty smells.
Mmmmm warm poop. Yum.
 
Dan, when it did the initial burn on my Yoder, they recommended 350 F for one hour then a seasoning cook ( I used Bacon ). I know yours is different but this may give you an idea and I pray you'll be able to do some great Q on it soon.
