I refurbish Cast Iron via electrolysis and somehow had never come across the Crisbee Puck until last week. Used it on the new Blackstone. (Pic below)Very happy with the results. Done properly one puck will get you about 8 coats on a 36" griddle from bare. Plan on using crisbee on my next CI piece

Looks great! Have been using the Crisbee pucks for a while now on all my cast iron pans and love it! The irony is that I have never used it on my Blackstone. Doh!

Just an FYI, they will usually have sales of "damaged" tins. The tin might have a slight dent in but the puck is otherwise undamaged. Good to save a couple of bucks.

The cost doesn't bother me. With everything I have done with c.i., it is worth it to me to use something that works.

I did the whole Grape seed and flax seed thing. Nothing more frustrating than taking the time to do something right and have to start from scratch when it fails.
