Blackstone 36" Griddle is LEGIT

I'll have to go give those at lowes at look. The ones at academy always have slag or burrs all over the cook top. So I still haven't got one. But if these have a nice smooth cook top I'll have to get one. Just couldn't drop that money on a griddle I was gonna have to take home and grind on.

I ordered mine online and had it shipped. It was well packaged and the top is in great condition.

If it makes it any easier, Lowe's is running a 10% off Cardholder appreciation event Friday and Saturday 6/19-6/20 for new and existing lowes cardholders.

10% off is a great reason you needed to buy it now when explaining to the spousal unit.

We're can I get one in Canada ?!!!!!!! That's a pretty cool little toy! I could get lots of use out of that!

I think you all NEED one. I just got done making fajita's for my wife and I. Burgers for my nieces and her friends that are staying with us. And some bacon because bacon.

I really like the Blackstone - I've had one for about a year now. Cooking on a griddle is my favorite - I'm not a big fan of "grilled" food. My momma burned too much stuff when I was a kid for me to enjoy that "char" taste! haha.

If anyone wants a cheaper alternative and you have an outdoor stove, like from Camp Chef then the Camp Chef griddle tops work really well. They are built extremely well, have a heat diffuser plate for more even temps and I use that griddle probably 10 to 1 over my Blackstone. Reason being is it heats quicker, is a bit easier to clean (smaller) and I have the flexibility of cooking different things on my four burner stove. I am no way saying it's better than the Blackstone because it's not, but if you have an outdoor stove you can get into a nice 24" flat top for around $100 and get the same results as the Blackstone.

i have a camp chef expedition 3 burner with the griddle. works great. i wonder if this blackstone works better.

I"m going to gain 100lbs.

Made the youngins and me some french toast and bacon.

2 eggs,
half cup of cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon coconut extract

The real key is to only dunk the bread, never soak it. I try to do it as fast as possible just to get some on both sides all over. (when using regular loaf bread)

I have the Camp Chef 4 burner patio stove with two 24" griddles. I use it several times a week and love it. If I'm not smoking in my Assassin 28, I'm using the flattops.

That post just confirmed that this is definitely a must buy for me before summer is over. That opens up the menu for me so much....great pics guy!!

Thanks JoSal! You won't be disappointed and wait till you make some tacos on it. I don't do tacos any other way. Best part is everything is ready at the same time and clean up is a breeze. :faint2:

Can't say that I "nailed" it. But everyone ate seconds. And some of my cousins that are in town said "this is way better than I expected" as they drooled over there 2nd large helping. I really didn't think it would be anywhere near this good. While there is a lot of room for improvement, it was WAY WAY better than I get at local restaurants. I can just see how much better it will be when I master the technique (and use more heat.) This thing is a blast.
