Wow! What a GREAT day!

Not much else I can say at the moment.
Let me get home and make it though this meat coma and I will post up some photos and details.

Seriously... with a crew like this... there MUST be some Pr0N!

I'm turning green with Ivy... er, envy!

Fine...

I have a few

No introductions needed.

Oh the guy holding the Cabo? That's Landarc who was nice enough to supply it.

That was such a fun time having Phubar, Padawan and GTR come join us us(or give us a reason to get together..) Wow, the food we had and the laughs we shared were just amazing and I am so glad that I finally got to meet my good friends from the Netherlands.. John Yees lamb and Nancy Yees dessert just put it over the top. Thanks to all and I am still buzzing with fun inside myself. :)

There was so much good food there that I unfortunately didn't get pics of

Flamethrower Mike's pork tenderloins, BBQ PD's spares and nachos, beef back ribs, landarc's brisket, Groundhog66's hatch chili Colorado, corn bread, Brunswick stew, martyleach's variety of sausage, and brownies. I'm sure I'm missing some dishes.

A few more pics...

I'm sure I'm missing some stuph, so please chime in.

I'd be curious to know if campdude's pickled jalapenos, which made it up to the NorCal Bash, have taken their toll yet. I was gonna eat some, but remembered I had a long car ride today. I saved a jar here at the house and and looking forward to checking them out. They were a big hit yesterday!

Anyway, pix!

Groundhog66 and aforementioned pickled jalapenos. I'm sure his arse feels great today, as does Marty Leach's, BBQ PD's, and I think Q Junkie may be sitting down a lot today as well.

Let's get a closer look, shall we? It was great, esp. when we hit it with Sir PorkaLot's hot salt.

Hatch chili colorado courtesy Groundhog66. I've neve made chile colorado, but ubetchurass I'll be trying it now. This was farkin' delicous and then some.

BBQ PD's ribs. They were so pretty it was hard to stop looking and start eating, but I got into the eating phase right quick and stayed there a while. They were excellent.

I was really stoked to meet landarc - by far one of my favorite people who post here. He brought a very, very nice brisket.

IMG_5759.jpg

I got a burnt end and loved it.

IMG_5760.jpg

Sir Porkalot's pork loin with his Naturiffic dry brine - I'm a farkin' believer, I'll tell you that. Batchit crazy good. Great flavor, juicy, tender, all that. We all know how easy it is to dry out a pork loin (well I do anyway )

We were already stuffed and still put a major hurting on this lasagna. Just fantastic.

Once again, attending a gathering of people I hadn't met before felt like a gathering of old friends. These folks are super farkin' cool and we all had a blast. I want to thank Marty Leach for pulling this together and showing us such a great time the day before - such a cool day! And BBQ PD and his wife worked very hard to make this bash happen in such a great way - just stellar, stellar hosting and I - and I'm sure everybody else - really appreciate all you two put into it. Any of you NorCal farkers come down my way, gimme a holler - you farkers are good down here. I really do hope to see y'all again sometime soon.
