I would complain to Amazon if my order were cancelled. Understandably the pricing was a mistake, but those who post items for sale should take care to ensure their items description, photos, pricing are accurate before listing. Any local retailer would have to honor an item that was priced in error. Amazon items should be no different.

Amazon isn't like any local retailer with all the folks selling on it. Complaining won't do much in these cases, but could be worth a few keystrokes. I'm interested to see anyone that does receive theirs. Also interested to see if there is anyone that actually expected this deal to go through :becky:.

Understood. I spend a lot at Amazon. Products should sell for price as advertised.

I did receive a shipping confirmation email. A few hours later I got a refund notification email. I did not receive a cancellation notice, but I don't expect to receive the product.

With as many 3rd party sellers on that insanely massive e-commerce site this is going to happen. They should always try and improve and there is no question about that, but with that huge amount of sellers expecting it to be 100% perfect is wishful thinking :thumb:.

There's been a few types of these online "sales" where things are just crazy and clearly mistakenly cheap. Seems folks have no issue hitting the large companies for these deals, but then people throw the comparison of what if it was a local mom and pop store. Should they just get hosed for any many people catch the mistake before it can be corrected??..............

the seller is XpW. He now has it listed for 30.03 + shipping. Because he is still selling the product on Amazon for a higher price you can add negative feedback. I've contacted him about the order and informed him that if he refuses to honor the deal I'll be leaving negative feedback. He currently has a rating of 91%. I think everybody here that ordered needs to post negative feedback of their order isn't honored.

Honoring mistakes is a part of business. A true reputable business honors the deal even if it means losing money.

It's one thing if a $30 grill/item was listed at $20.00 and the order was cancelled. At least according to the thread title, the price was listed at $0.01, which is an obvious error. Pretty lame to leave negative feedback about it in my opinion.

Pfft, very few retailers do such a thing. If it was a local mom and pop, the issue would have been noticed after the first grill was sold. Perhaps they might have taken the $20+ hit and honored the price for that one.

Online is different. There might have been 100 grills ordered which puts the losses in the thousands. It's beyond unreasonable to expect the price to be honored.

The customer is always right- only at a burger joint. Come on Bretheren have some integrity. It was a pricing error. It's happened before, it will happen again. Taking advantage of people or corporations suck. You threw the dice and crapped out. Deal with it

Agree to disagree. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. First of all nobody knows if this a mom and pop shop and frankly it shouldn't matter. In all likelihood they are wholesalers. Nobody would batt an eye about complaining if this was a price mistake by Walmart. Don't wanna leave negative feedback then don't. I intend on it though.

Cmon 16!!!! No one has ever made a mistake at work!!! And when they do make a mistake it directly doesn't come from their "food basket/'paycheck". Company normally eats its and doesn't make them personally accountable . Not the person who has apparently never ever has ever ever made a mistake at work or in life that they wish wasn't online and couldn't be exploited by thousands within minutes because that is what the internet does...........:blabla:

Whichever person was stupid enough to mistakenly hit the wrong key should be strung from the rafters to appease those wanting a ONE PENNY GRILL!!!! Everyone murder them with negative feedback immediately!!!!!!!!!!! :becky:

Everyone here is an adult and responsible for their own character. Y'all have fun.

But just ponder- would you hold a friend or family member to this deal or is it because the seller is nameless and faceless.

Smoke on brothers- all my thoughts are just my opinions. Maybe not worth anything- except to me.

Yup. This. No one's ever make a mistake they wouldn't want the Internet to violently exploit. Good luck gentlemen. Hit them hard, like violently hard with reckless abandonment on how they are just an awful seller and should just give up on life :-D

I will most likely leave negative feedback. Running two large construction companies if I place a bid out and make a mistake I can't go back and ask for more money once I realized there was an issue. You take the loss and move on and keep the customer happy

Am pretty sure that usually depends on when you find the mistake doesn't it ? If you find out right after the contract is awarded to you, but before you do any work at all, does that change things ?
