If the fool can't do or won't do BBQ, then gifting him anything must come with a certain degree of acceptance that a fool will not do what you tell him to. As such, the gentle picture of bag reheating will have limited effect but you have to expect that.

Not everyone can do BBQ. Not everyone can follow instructions. That's why we must (at times) take pity on them.
