I added one ingredient that may upset some purists.
Onto the WSM
In the mean time, firing up the Akorn. Let them steam a little in the husk
Removed husk and basted with melted butter + S&P mix
This is traditional
Not sure if this is: shredded smoked chicken + 12 hour smoked shoulder + spice mix above
Added curry powder to this traditional spice blend
30 of them wrapped and into the pot
Not sure if authentic, just kind of eye balled it
Made a sweeter version with mangos for the kiddies (and me :roll
Charred corn guacamole
Cold Jicama and Fuji apple salad with salt and pepper
"Please Don't Shoot Me: Curried Masa Tamale Bowl"
