Getting ready for another rough gardening season in drought country. lol
I'm repurposing a tank for drip irrigation to part of my garden. Friends helped move the tank and we installed a new sight glass.
I fed them lunch.
I plan on doing something to the tank to make it look "pretty" if possible.
Chiles from one of those egg barters.
added garlic and onions...
chicken bouillon and liquid from the chile pot..
blended til smooth.
strained the sauce and it was ready..
Used some bolillos from the market..
dipped to coat with chile sauce... then fried in a bit of oil.
layered with warm refried beans first...
traditional Pambazos use chorizo and potatoes but I went with some shredded beef shank that I had on hand..
queso fresco..
lettuce and pico...
Salvadorian cream, cause I can't get enough of it. lol
onions and salsa verde...
lastly, cotija...
I liked the spicy bread, not too hot, just enough of a bite for me. Also frying added a nice crunch. I'll make these again soon.
Thanks for looking!
