There are a couple Throwdowns going on and I decided to try a Two-fer.

MOINK balls cooked on kettle grill.

I started off with some store bought meatballs.

I wrapped a 1/2 slice of bacon around each one and secured it with a toothpick.

I rolled them in some Hardcore Carnivore Red rub and cooked them on The Weber Jumbo Joe.

I mixed up a quick glaze with equal parts Stubb's sauce and jelly. ( I used Strawberry bc it was in the fridge).

When the bacon was done, I slathered on the glaze and put em back on the heat to caramelize.

Since I don't usually use sauces or glazes when I grill or smoke, I am not good at it. I had the fire too hot and I charred some of them.

As soon as they were cool enough to eat without scalding my mouth, we dug into them. (Okay I didn't wait till they cooled and I scalded my mouth)

I was felling a little iffy about how a strawberry glaze would taste, but I was pleasantly surprised. They were outstanding.
