There was a Texas based chain of BBQ restaurants that shuttered in 2000s called Luther's. It was very popular in its day here in the NOLA area. Anybody have any idea how there sauce was made? I've tried the copycat recipes I could google and the one I found posted here, but each left a bit to be desired. Luther's was based on Texas BBQ joints, so I'm sure it based on a traditional sauce. It was thin with light heat, and not to sweet. It was served heated at a serve yourself station with whipped butter, sliced white onions, pickles, and maybe jalapenos. Man I miss it.
