Have you switched from your homemade rub to a commercial rub?

Numero 1, I will say I have made my own rubs in the past and they were fantastic. I quit because buying that volume of fresh spice for the competition or home cook, was ridiculous.

That being said, everyone loved my rubs. How many of you can honestly (HONESTLY), say that for the time and money you spend, that your rub is as good as Plowboys, or Smokin' Guns, or Dizzy Pig or 3 Eyes, or whatever.

Take out the time and expense and it's a no brainer. These guys have machines that grind everything to the perfect consistency, do you have one? (In B4 coffee grinder, BS). These guy's can buy obscene amounts of fresh spice and get an obscene fresheness, can you?

Not everyone here has a restaurant budget to work with.
