Grass fed strips from…….ALDI?

I like ALDI for certain things, their produce is usually pretty good and I’ll buy meat from there from time to time. They usually have skirt steak for 15-20% less than the local stores and I’ve been pretty happy with it, so when I saw these grass fed strips for $9.99/lb that had good color and marbling I thought I’d give them a whirl.









I was pretty happy with the results, good flavor and tenderness, some nice yellow fat, and the fam gave it good reviews. I’d buy it again.

Served with grilled asparagus with a rosemary infused olive oil, salt, cracked pepper coating and grilled in foil yellow taters with garlic thyme and a small amount of rosemary.
