So out at Murphysboro I came up with an easy method to cooking eggs on the grill, here's what you do.

Step one, use tinfoil to make cups that are 3 1/2 inches wide with half inch or higher side walls.

Spray with a non-stick cooking spray (I used Pam) and lightly spray the tinfoil cups.

Crack an egg and put it in the cup.

Cook over medium high to high direct heat until the doneness you like and when ready use tongs or a spatula to take off the grill.

In about 30 seconds the foil should be good to touch with your hands. Start pulling apart the foil with both hands (pulling away from eachother) until the egg peels away from the foil.

Slide it onto anything you like and enjoy. I put mine on a sausage and cheese sandwich.

Cupcake/muffin pans work better and are less trouble.Especially the Non-Stick ones.Just ask Myron! They come in different sizes. You have a good method though. You can make em whatever size you want, then throw away the cups.

wow, I kept trying to just crack an egg onto the grate...never worked well...the foil pan might help, huh? :)

Great idea, I've been scrambling eggs and cooking them in a half-pan or frying them in a cast iron skillet, but this is a great alternative.
