Got a great deal on chicken legs (drumsticks).
I was thinking of smoking them on my beloved UDS along with two chuckies.
Do chicken legs like the low slow method? Or do they get all rubbery?

Chicken is better cooked at 300 or higher. Would cook the chucks then when you take them off to rest throw the chicken on.
What temp you cooking the chucks?

The legs themselves do not get rubbery, if they dry out they get tough which is why they are better suited for a hotter cook. It's the skin that gets rubbery from not being exposed to a hot enough heat source to crisp it.

You could smoke them with the chuckies in the UDS and finish them on one of your grills for a couple minutes to crisp the skin.
