Was a tasty meal that is for sure! The temp climbed higher than I thought
it would(finished 128 ) with the low cooking temp so it finished higher than my liking but was still on point. Thanks for lookin'!

Beautiful piece of meat cooked to perfection. I'm sure it was delicious; but I will never know. I would become a vegan before paying $15.99 per lb for beef.

everything looks great. have never seen a potato cooked like that. whats your secret?

They are typically called hasselback potatoes. We like the garlic variety(shove a slice of garlic between each cut). I cut the base of the tater so it doesn't teeter and then take a wooden spoon in front so I don't cut all the way through(1/8" spaces). Then shove garlic in and spread melted butter/oil. Bake @400 for @1hour or until tender. They are tasty!

.

Yeah we never buy cuts like this but I've been wanting to do this cook for awhile and considering what we would pay at a steak house for something fancy, was fun and a 1/4 of the price. I typically only buy meat when its on sale or whole primals and seal so this was just something to play with.

Thanks for all the nice comments!
