After 10 years, still loving my ThermoPop

I bought this ThermoWorks ThermoPop back in 2013 if I recall. It still works great! I keep it in my knife block. (image below)

They appear to be having a "closeout special" for $15.99 on these right now. I might grab another just to have it.

Maybe they decided to close them out because they last too long? Unplanned Longevity vs Planned Obsolescence?

They have a new version of it out. So they're clearing out the old ones. They were $12 just before Christmas. I purchased 4 for gifts. You can't beat it for the price. Even at $16.

I like the pop too. I take it to cooks away from home and use it here too.Wife likes it.If it gets misplaced not the end of the world

The Thermopop is an amazing tool at these current prices.

I've had my original one for 8 or 9 years and only replaced the battery twice, and only because the display was getting dim.

I have 2 currently and have gifted them many times and everyone likes them.

Highly recommended.

I even put one through the washer and dryer on accident one time, and it still reads accurate and fast.
