Puttin' that smoker to good use. I can't find a baloney chub around here to save my butt.

9 bucks for a 5 lb chub at Walmart - 2 years ago was 5 bucks!

We brought out the meat slicer yesterday and sliced and vacuum sealed 10 lbs of Turkey breast, 6 lbs of eye of round, 10 lbs of Bologna and 4 pounds of pork belly (that I had smoked like a brisket and froze a couple weeks ago)

Lunch meat January for me

I've seen beef clod at restaurant depot, yet never picked one up.
After seeing this cook and all the suggested meals I need to get me a clod quick!

Since the cook - I have used the leftovers for a batch of chili - and made a stir fry/fried rice with some of the meat, onions and jalapeños

Still have 2 pounds left - going to throw that in a batch of stew this weekend

So was this, Bruce. I just came across it...and I've been keeping a eye out since this thread and bought two. I bought two because I if I f*** up, it needs ta be epic. I can't stand people who consistently f*** up small. There's just nothing remarkable about them.
I was really surprised how big these things are.
