Weston Pro 1100 Vac Sealer/Initial Review

Quick question, will 11" bags be able to fit a rack of three bone short ribs? I'm in the market for a vacuum sealer.

Had the pro 2300 for 3 years now. Laughable to try comparing a food saver to it. Expensive at first, worth every penny after

Quick question, will 11" bags be able to fit a rack of three bone short ribs? I'm in the market for a vacuum sealer.

I believe the 3 bone rack would have no problem fitting into the gallon sized bag which is 11" X 16" as I can fit whole pork butts into that size bag with plenty of room. They also make rolls of 11" wide and 15' wide material to make custom sized bags.

There are many sized bags and rolls of bag material to fit different sizes if items to be vac-sealed. If it fits, you can seal it.

The pint size is typically 6" X 10"
The quart size is typically 8" X 12"
The gallon size is typically 11" X 16"
and a larger size available is 15" X 18"
Other sources produce a 10" X 14", 12" X 16", and even a 16" X 26".

Yes, the 16" X 26" can work if you pre-seal 2" on each side.

Rolls are available in 8", 11", and 15" wide material.
