Does Weber's Master Touch usually come with a heat deflector?

Saw this at Costco today.

That's odd - it appears the lid in the photo is hinged, not a feature associated with any of the other kettles that I'm aware of...
 
You still get a ton of radiant heat from that plate, it's way too close to the food; much further away in the Summit

It is being discontinued, Costco is blowing them out. This version is still available in Europe.
 
It appears the mystery has been solved - this is a hinged lid Weber Master Touch Premium that is probably a Costco exclusive, as I don't see it on the Weber website:

It didn't start out as a Costco exclusive. It may have became one after Weber discontinued it as its no longer on their site.
When I bought my Weber Master Touch 6 months ago the premium was an option from BBQguys.com but I decided it wasn't worth the extra money for me.
