Yesterday I took a vac packed tri-tip out of the fridge.

Marinated in Oakridge Black Ops and EVOO for a week.

On the Weber indirect.

Some reverse searing once it was about 110F internal.

What you don't see is a long rest in foil and an old bath towel for over an hour.

Took it over to my neighbors place where we usually have a Sunday afternoon get together.

Sliced half of it on a small board.

And we ate it right off the board with some Scotch.

I smoked one and shaved it with an electric knife.Good snacks.Served it with a board sauce.(herbs and olive oil). Tasty treat. By the way ,yours looks delicious .
 
hell...yes!

"some" scotch....looks like a pretty full glass to me!
which BTW is how I pour as well.
