Salt block in black stone pizza oven

I just got my black stone put together and have cooked a few pies on it so far that turned out awesome. BUT....I was wondering has anyone tried putting a salt block on top of the stone for cooking steaks veggies fish etc? Would it damage the stone to do so? I have a prime ribeye sitting in the fridge I want to try it out on

I haven't used a Salt block, but I did use an old cast iron skillet that had a broken handle to cook a steak in mine.
It was amazing!

Grinder with a metal cutoff wheel goes right through those things. The cutoff wheels wear down fast but they are a lot cheaper than a bandsaw blade.
