Wandering around with a bag of matchlight, looking for a match.
Hey all,
My name is Mark and I’m new here.
I joined after being referred here by KCBS. I have an interest in smoking but don’t have any equipment yet, but my wife and I love BBQ and she’s expressed interest in me doing our own smoking.
Anyhow, with that in mind...
I’m clearing some neglected pasture land and it has 100s of wild Plum trees. I thought I’d save some wood for my own future endeavors... but beyond that, I can’t possibly use this much wood. It will either be pushed in a ditch, mulched up to build soil, or put in a pile and burnt.
EXCEPT any wood anyone here has an interest in.
I’d be happy to sale anyone logs, chunks, or
Chips at very reasonable rates.
I hate to waste the wood , but I just need to make it more worth while the work to provide it to smokers than to let it rot or burn in a field or ditch.
It seems like you all are a tight bit community. I’d even sale you as a group a pile of
Wood and let you split
It up as you see fit.
I think I could provide a couple chords of plum wood this year
