that's a heck of a deal. Wished the Amish were closer to me. They're about 4 hours away. Maybe I can call them and have them deliver.......:wink:

Check Craigslist in your area and see if there is a local sawmill. There might be a guy majing lumber with a small mill and needs to get rid of slabs. Use terms like lumber, sawmill, or slab. I would check the Material section first. You might find it under farm & garden or arts & crafts.
 
the non-Amish (if you want to call them that) sawmills near my cabin grind them up into sawdust

I dont know what they do with it at that point, maybe sell it to pellet makers.

there are probably 4 sawmills in my area 2 are Amish.
 
Big problem. Leave that wood on the truck.
Bring it to me.
