Sounds like Isle DuBois on Oct 18th is the winner.

Looking at the map, it looks like there's a pavilion up by the kid fish pond that is right by a parking lot and right by a restroom, plus it's away from the lake so hopefully out of the wind. That might be our best bet.

I'm planning on bringing Major this time, so there won't be extra cooking space sponsored by peeps this go-round.

There may be a pecan smoked bourbon pecan pie or 2, though :wink:

If I end up getting a new smoker I'll bring whatever it ends up being, otherwise I'll be bringing a 22" WSM again.

In April, the Kid Fish Pond was pretty desolate. We took a walk there from that parking lot on Friday.
