My son has a date for Homecoming, and he asked me to cook

The real question is...did he help you with the cook at all?

Or more precisely...tell him he needs to invite her over (obviously not on the night of a dance) and he will cook for her (with your help).

Even if it doesn't work out with her tell him that it'll help him out with future potentials ;)

Wow! You really went all the way on this one. I'm just a meat and potatoes kinda guy but I know a lot of people who would be truly honored to have that meal placed in front of them. And congratulations on raising a son with the values to bring a date for a homecooked homecoming meal.

Hard to believe Joe is old enough to date 8)
He's not. We were hoping he'd wait until he was 40.

Also having met you at PGBBQ your son must get his looks from his mother which is good for all involved!
Ain't that the truth? He does get his looks from his mom!

I think I need to take my wife on a date to Wyocena, WI.
You get yourselves here, and I'd be thrilled to cook for ya.

You sir are a great father....I will do my best to raise my kids just like you did.
I am just a flawed man doing my best to raise boys who will grow up to love and honor God and not be afraid to show it.

Boy your son has grown a lot since the last time I saw him......
He's almost as big as I was when I graduated from high school. Good to hear from you Ken.

Thanks for all of your kind words. They're pretty high cotton.
