I’m searching for a meat injectors that would perform well when injecting 20-30 butts or roasts. I’ve been using cheap ones and they don’t seem to hold up long. I purchased the Chop’s model and it’s OK but a real PITA to clean. Who has used other Walton’s models or the F Dick injector and what did you think. Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I have one of these, A bit pricey but I use it commercially and I've used it heavily for 3 years now and it still going strong. Is this the same "Chops one" ups have? I generally don't find it overly difficult to clean...

I recommend it if you're doing that kind of volume regularly. Mine has paid back for itself many times over the years.

$400 for a tackle box with a pump in it............

hahaha essentially yes. I'll admit I thought the same when I got it. And I probably wouldn't have bought it if I didn't get one to use before buying it... but like I said the time it has saved has easily paid for itself for me and its a good quality pump in that "tackle box". I use it hard... It's held up over the years. I brine pump 500-750 lbs of meat a month, every month and Christmas time over 3000 lbs of hams for the season and I haven't had any issues with it...

If you can make one cheaper then go right ahead... but the post was asking for a recommendation and this is mine (if you're doing 30+ butts regularly)

**edit**
The Pump itself is $369 so you're paying for the pump... not the tackle box... don't worry
