Great looking cooker! My Lang gets Crisco on the outside while still warm, keeps any rust at bay and gives a nice patina. Inside gets Grape seed oil or Flax seed oil. Both do a good job of producing an almost non-stick surface.

Pam is a common suggestion and it is easy to apply, just find that it does not do a good enough job for me.
