Tossed a couple of store bought corned beef on the WSM for some hickory smoke.


Sliced it thin.


And made some awesome faux-strami Reubens on homemade sourdough bread.


I know it's just a sandwich. But I can't get enough of them.

It's a Beswood 250, I think. With the 10" blade. Well worth the cost.

Some say yes. Some insist there are different processes to achieve the two. I don't know enough to argue with either.

That's why we call it fauxstrami.
