My Big Farking Sandwich entry will be a fried catfish poboy.
We start by toasting a homemade sourdough loaf on the Weber 22.
The bread was made by my daughter's boyfriend, Chris, since I gave up on baking many years ago.
Then we proceeded to fry some farm raised catfish in my big 12" Lodge pan.
Followed by the assembly of the Big Farkin Poboy.
Consisting of the toasted sourdough.
A homemade Remoulade sauce that I kicked up with my smoked Habanero sauce.
Pickles and tomatoes.
The fried catfish, of course.
And some slaw made better with more of the smoked hab sauce.
I present a big farking sandwich.
The unedited photo was taken by Chris since he has much better camera gear than I do
And a sliced up picture just before it got devoured.
With a 15" loaf and nearly 2# of fried fish, I think this falls very nicely in the "Big Farking" range when it comes to sandwiches.
It was great and it was fun.
And thanks for checking it out.
