I read the article last year and used this method on Christmas Day this year and it was my best PR yet. Here's the link to my cook thread:

Loved the edge to edge pink color and this method does give you a nice window for getting it to your table just the way you want it. You can hold it for a good long while and then hit it with your sear just before you are ready to serve it, and it comes out great.
