One of my coworkers gave me a free 12lb brisket today. The sell by date is 4-16-21. He froze it the day he bought it so it's been frozen for 2.5yrs. It is vacuum sealed. He never had time to cook it and forgot about it. I told him I'd take it. You guys think it's still good?. Thanks.

I had a prime brisket in the deep freeze some years back I had forgotten about that was over 2 years old. It did have a bit of freezer burn, which I removed. One of the best briskets I've cooked to date!

Found 2 SRF wagyu black in the bottom of my chest freezer, from my comp days. Last comp I did was in 2018. Lol. Cooked them up when some college friends came over and they were great.

Its fine. I would eat a woolly mammoth thats been frozen in permafrost for 50,000 years.
