How do you buy your sauce

If you bought gallons, would you end up throwing them out when the taste doesn't seem right to you? If so, continue buying pints.
 
If available, we buy in gallons and 1/2 gallons. I'm sure someone can break down the science of how sauce breaks down and deteriorates through time being exposed to the air, yada, yada, yada... When we won our first grand last October, I had been using those gallons of sauce since March, so you can bet your tail I'll continue to buy gallons :).
 
Rub, where can we get the gallon jugs of your stuff. I asked BPS and they said they didn't carry them...?? This was as of a couple of months ago.

BTW, I buy gallons and fill mason jars to take to comps.

SmokinMoney as far as mine goes I think it's at least a year after opened and in the fridge. No preservatives. Unopened it has a 4 year shelf life.

Why not buy gallons and then transfer to quart mason jars? Mason jars will keep it fresh and you can use a quart at a time while saving money by buying in bulk. Just as thought.
