Is there an outstanding place for BBQ in Greenville, NC? That’s our midway point and lunch stop.

I was underwhelmed by Kings in Kinston.
 
I've only tried Skylight Inn in Ayden. They are an institution, if you believe in such things. I think it is a must-visit if you're in the area -- not many people are driving through this area like you are. I thought the BBQ was quite good. I did not understand their cornbread slice. I was wondering if it was a traditional recipe from 200 years ago and this is how it used to be made before they invented sugar, chiles and cake flour.
