Cooked my first fatty on a Smokey Joe Gold!
Second, bought a Smokey Joe Platinum for $20 from Craigslist!
The Platinum has a replacement 17.5" grate in it, but a quick call to Weber and they're sending me the correct grate to fit; I had to pay for it of course. I'll keep the smaller grate to use upside down if I need more room; assuming I have enough head space.
The best part is the seller described it as a Smokey Joe Gold, i.e. the 14.5" grill, but once I saw the picture, I knew it was a Platinum.
Not sure why two of the pictures are sideways...they're vertical on my computer.
