Have been wanting to try but haven’t stumbled upon one. Finally went looking today. Definitely learned a few things by this cook and look forward to doing it again. Love that you can do this and feed a family of 4 in under 3 hrs.

Another option you may want to try on your next Tri-Tip cook is to bbq it like a Brisket Flat. The Tri Tip is a very forgiving piece of beef and can be cooked in many different ways. Also, with the right type of seasoning/rubs, you’ll be quite surprised with the finished product... Just make sure you use a good quality beef injection to add moisture to the Tri-Tip, if you do give it a shot. Here’s a Harry Soo video on a Tri-Tip bbq’d like a brisket. Good luck
