somebody shut me the fark up.
Received a gift from a friend yesterday of BG196 Black Garlic.
Today I got to check it out.
First up was to make a compound butter with Blackberries and Black Garlic & Q-Salt while my pork chops were in the Sous Vide bath
Note: The Sous Vide is a great way to soften butter
Once the chops came out of the hot tub they were covered in the compound butter & more Q-Salt and rested for a bit while I put the apple dish together.
The apples were cored and stuffed with pecans, topped with a blackberry & smoked with applewood.
Then they were covered with a honey and black garlic mixture and cooked a bit more.
It is incredible how versatile this Black Garlic is! Nothing had a garlic taste and both dishes were incredible.
The black garlic has the consistency of roasted garlic, but is a little sweet with a flavor that resembles an aged balsamic.
